Hagerty Motorsports, LLC (“MSR,” “we,” “us,” “Motorsports,” and “our”) operates MotorsportReg.com to provide services, information, and merchandise for those of you like us who love motorsports. We are your one-stop for all things motorsports.

Hagerty Motorsports, LLC can be a data controller or a data processor depending on our relationship. If you create an account with us, then we are the data controller for the information associated with your account. If you participate in an event that uses our services, then we will be a data processor for that event. Minors Under 16
If you are under 16 and want to create an account with us or use the services, then your parent or legal guardian must create the account for you. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from somebody under 16 without parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from a child under 16 without parental consent, please contact us at privacy@hagerty.com, or at the address at the end of this document.

We collect some information directly from you when you create an account or register for an event. We also collect some information automatically as you use our services.
The personal information we may collect directly from you includes but is not limited to:

If you share somebody else’s personal information with us, you must have that person’s consent.
Information We Automatically Collect from You:
The information that we automatically collect from you comes from internet servers and their log files along with information collected through cookies. This information includes technical information about your device/computer, the software you use, your location and what pages you visit. These all allow you to interact with our website in the best way possible. We can also use some of this data to serve advertisements to you that you may find helpful. We also collect information automatically for website analytics. We use Google Analytics and Fullstory to help us gather information about our website. Specifically, we use geographic and general website movement pattern features. You can opt-out of these analytics features that we use by utilizing Google's or Fullstory’s currently available opt-outs.
How We Use Your Personal Information
We will only use information for the purpose that it was collected. We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information:

- By event organizers, to register you for events;
- to provide access to our site and services;
- to help an event organizer respond to your needs in case of an emergency such as a racing accident;
- to operate and improve our site and services;
- to contact you regarding your account and our services;
- to stop, find, mitigate, and investigate security incidents impacting our site and services;
- to find, mitigate and respond to fraudulent, prohibited, or illegal activities;
- to enforce our Terms of Use, this Privacy Notice, and other policies you have agreed to
- to fulfill our responsibilities to you;
- to allow you to participate in interactive features on our site;
- to verify your e-signature;
- in any other way we may describe when you provide the information; and
- for any other purpose with your consent.

We will not sell your personal information to anybody ever. We may share (“disclose”) your personal information for the following purposes:
To our corporate Hagerty family members:
- to protect ourselves against illegal acts, fraud, or security incidents;

- to help us serve custom content and market our products to you. We will never use information you have submitted to an event organizer, such as registering for an event, for marketing purposes.
However, you can opt-in to these types of communication:

To Third Parties and Event Organizers:
- to fulfill our responsibilities to you;

- to market our products, services, and events to you that you have either opted-in to or have the ability to opt-out of. We will never use information you have submitted to an event organizer, such as registering for an event, for marketing purposes.
However, you can opt-in to these types of communication:
- to provide joint content and services (like registration, transactions, and customer support) with event organizers;

We will share information with law enforcement, governmental agencies, or authorized third parties when we are legally required to or to defend our rights, respond to a complaint or lawsuit.
If the ownership of this company ever changes, then we will disclose your personal information to the buyer or whoever assumes ownership of this company. This could happen in a sale, bankruptcy, or liquidation.

- for as long as an event organizer keeps it in our system;
- on our backup and disaster recovery systems according to our backup and disaster recovery policies and procedures;
- for information that has been aggregated or otherwise rendered de-identifiable in such a manner that you are no longer identifiable, indefinitely.
How We Protect Your Personal Information
We use industry standard protections for your non-public personal information, such as firewalls and Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption. We have implemented security measures designed to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information we collect or receive from you. However, "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet, but we will endeavor to keep your private information secure.
You also play a role in protecting your information. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password secret. You should not share your password with anyone.
Unfortunately, sending information over the internet is not perfectly secure. While we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information sent to our site. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk.
User Generated Content
